Humerus
Commonly called the upper arm bone
📍 Location
Upper arm, shoulder to elbow
⚙️ Function
Supports the upper arm, allows shoulder and elbow movement
💡 Fun fact
The "funny bone" feeling comes from hitting the ulnar nerve behind the humerus — not from the bone itself.
📖 Story
Despite the name, the humerus has nothing to do with humor. It comes from Latin "umerus" meaning shoulder.
